A special tax regime for people who move to Spain to work.
If you qualify, you are taxed in Spain much like a non-resident, even while you live here.

- 6 years
- The year you become resident plus the five following years.
- Abroad
- Your salary is taxed in Spain, but most other foreign income and assets stay outside.
- 6 months

Your estimated saving
–
Indicative 2026 estimate for a taxpayer under 65 with no children or other dependants and salary income only, with the state scale and the scale of the region you choose. It deducts the employee Social Security contribution and the general allowances, and ignores other deductions. It is not tax advice.
Made for people building a life in Spain.
The key condition: you were not tax resident in Spain in the previous 5 years, and you move here for work.
Employees
Hired by a Spanish company or posted here by your employer.
Remote workers
Working from Spain for a foreign company, including digital nomad visas.
Directors
Company directors, under the conditions set by the law.
Entrepreneurs and families
Innovative founders, highly qualified talent and, often, partners and children.

Can't find yours? Write to us and we'll answer within 24 hours.
How do I know if I qualify?
It depends on your contract, your role and your last few years. Small details change the answer, so we check every case before filing. The first call is free.
What is the deadline?
6 months from your registration with Spanish Social Security. It cannot be extended, so the sooner we start, the better.
I've already started working. Is it too late?
Not if you're still within those 6 months. Check your date with our deadline checker and write to us.
Can my family benefit too?
In many cases, yes, if certain conditions are met. We'll tell you whether it makes sense for them.
Is it always better than normal income tax?
Not always. It depends on your income, your family and your assets. We run the numbers first, and if the regime doesn't suit you, we'll tell you.
Do I have to file a tax return every year?
Yes. On the regime you file Form 151 every year, between April and 30 June, even if your employer already withholds 24%. We can do it for you.
Do you also help after the regime?
Yes. If you stay in Spain, we file your income tax return (Form 100) and, if needed, Form 720 for assets abroad. If you leave, we file Form 210 for your Spanish income. And we plan the change with you in advance.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. Everything can be done online: the call, your documents (through a secure channel) and any signatures.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your case. After the free first call we send you a clear, fixed quote before you commit to anything.
